DLC, one Switch, one island, four players

Anyone know how the DLC works when one island is shared with four people … we share a switch in my family and I’m just wondering if we all get to design on the archipelago

Everyone will have access to the dlc aslong as that's the primary switch registered under the user who bought the dlc.

I can confirm this, all residents can now access the DLC.

Yep you can all design on the archipelago even if only one player has the DLC (as long as it's the main player's primary registered switch), and it counts as a different archipelago for each player

I.e. it's not like how you share the island in the main game. So diff items spawn in the shop for each player too!

If the dlc was purchased and downloaded on the Primary Switch, all accounts should have access

If it's re-downloaded on a Secondary Switch, only the owner has access, and requires internet connection to use.
