Discountinuing monthly presents?

Anyone have an idea why Nintendo has been "regifting" DLC? Like with the horoscope they're currently doing in NA and the 7/11 set in Japan. Are they done with issuing new DLC?

For the past couple of days I've tried to get the monthly horoscope item but I got an error on my screen, but I'm not really sure.

I've been getting errors while trying to check for presents too. Something's weird, but I don't think we have any way of knowing if they're discontinuing the practise or not unless they actually tell us.

Maybe its to give a chance to everybod that didn't own the game at the time. I was wondering this as well. Itd be nice to have some new dlc. ;p

to add, I haven't been getting errors, I was able to get my gift for the month of june. The only time I've ever gotten errors was when I had a bad internet connection

That could be a high possibility. From what I've heard in Japan they still advertise New Leaf as if it came out yesterday. Keeping my fingers crossed they decide to swap country-specific DLC, but they probably won't lol

never really cared that much about the stuff they gift, I usually end up selling them or giving them away~

I've been getting the error as well at home, but I have been able to get the Nintendo Zone items. I heard those are supposed to continue until November. I hope they don't forget about New Leaf now that Happy Home Designer is coming out in a few months.
