Different ways a game can become corrupted?

I'm very clumsy, and I love my Animal Crossing town. I would hate for the data to become corrupted, so I want to know different ways it can happen so I can avoid it. I know that quitting while saving can corrupt your game, but what other ways can it?

There's a very very very small chance (like .00001% percent or something ridiculous) that a save file can corrupt on it's town just randomly. It's so small though there is no point even worrying about it really. Other than that I don't believe there is other than the most common method you just mentioned.

the only ways i know is turning off/closing/pressing home during saving. that is a 100% chance of corruption. you can also get your sd card dirty, therefore damaging it.
