Hey! So I'm trying to make a outdoor cafe sort of area by putting two stumps (the chairs) on either side of a bush (the tables.). I know that you can make smaller sized stumps by cutting down the trees before they're fully grown, so for those of you who have done that, I have a few questions for you.

1: Are stumps that aren't fully grown always the bullseye pattern, or are there sometimes special stump patterns on them?

2: Can you sit on stumps that aren't fully grown?

3: If yes, when you're sitting on them, can you turn towards something directly next to the stump (In this case, a bush)?

Thank you!

OH man! I never even thought of that, hopefully someone knows! It'll be cool to find out.

1: I haven`t seen a special pattern as I tried it a few times.

2: You can sit on a stump cutted one day before the tree is fully grown.

3: I don`t know what you?re meaning with this?

^ She means can you turn around while you're sitting on the stump, the way you can with regular stumps/stools

For full grown stumps if you use a silver axe you'll always get a special stump, so you could try it with the younger stumps.

Ah okay c: Yes you can turn around just like you can sitting on a stump of a fully grown tree.

Did not know you could cut them earlier.

Also! If they still take three ax swings to cut, use a golden ax twice. save the final swing for the silver ax. Lasts longer this way. That is, if they have special patterns on the smaller stumps.

Thank you so much! This has been really helpful. I still don't know what I want to do, but I have a few days to decide so I'll figure it out. c:

1. I'm not sure. I've personally never had a special pattern on a smaller stump.

2. Yes. In my old town, I had a stump serving as a chair outside the train station that I cut down a day before it was fully grown. My character and my villagers could sit on it just fine.

3. Yes. You can turn in all directions.
