I was able to score a heart shaped pond & I made my other pond heart shaped too lol. At this point I'm too attached to them to change or get rid of them!

Thanks! Good to know there’s no problem with spawning fish. I’m now ready to get rid of it and make a new better pond elsewhere in my map.

My two ponds have been absorbed into one big body of water so I guess you could say I kept them.
I just expanded onto them >(u.u)<

I was planning on it, but then the one got in the way so I got rid of it. I kept the spot of the second one, but I changed its shape to work better with what was going on around it. I'm going to make a couple more ponds, just need to figure out where to put them!

We're in the same boat! I don't remember what my original island looked like anymore (should have taken a picture) haha.

All my new ponds are thriving with fish though!

i kept one of my original ponds as-is (may change it!), and i changed my other original pond a little- it used to be a heart pond, but i did a little terraforming around the edges so it's a bear shape now!

I had a heart pond but ended up getting rid of it. I haven’t technically gotten rid of my other pond that seemed average but that’s mostly because I’ve halted from doing any major terraforming.

I had the heart pond! But I completely destroyed my island and made it a blank slate. I eventually recreated the heart pond in a different location.

I recreated mine exactly but a few squares to the left! I liked it but it wasn't quite right.

I had one pond, and it was just awful for fishing. It seemed like it would be really good (visualize an upside down U), but it was too thick to reach fish in the corners without running around to the top edge, by which time the fish will have inevitably moved. When it occurred to me that I could just fill it in, nothing could have made me happier.

You definitely get fish in terraformed ponds so that's false info.

I do still have my ponds but one I made bigger and terraformed land in the center. I'm not trying to change too much with terraforming right now so maybe they'll change or maybe the won't in the future.
