Pokémon Did they just make infecting your Pokemon with POKERUS harder?

I don't know but Nurse Joy told me that my Pokemon may get infected by POKERUS. She healed them and gave them back to me, but when I looked in one of my Pokemon's summary it wasn't infected.

Did they seriously make it harder!?

*they lose the ability to SPREAD pokerus if you keep them i think its 24 h.

as long as you put it in the box, itll keep the purple status that says pokerus, which means it can spread it to other pokemon. it wont spread to pokemon in the box.

op, is there a lil purple face down by the iv symbols?? if so, then it has it but it cant spread it.

Super Training made Pokerus useless anyway.

The only time I got it from the wild was when I caught Regice in Emerald. I checked it in the box and it had Pokerus. I still have it, with Pokerus intact.

But yeah, there should be a purple face there. If you ask anyone for a Pokemon with Pokerus, I'm sure they can catch a wild Pokemon and infect it for you, so you can spread it to others.

Erm. Losing POKERUS isn't what I meant. She told me that my Pokemon might be infected with POKERUS, but after she healed them my Pokemon weren't infected at all.

Did they add a percentage chance to get POKERUS now? That's all i'm asking.

I'm not sure what to say on this issue, but I myself have also seen this happen in Pokemon ORAS! I aquired a shiny Pokemon from someone and it had Pokerus I healed it with Nurse Joy and poof Pokerus gone (no Pokerus icon or the healed smiley face)! At first I thought maybe I was just crazy and imagined it, but after reading that you have experienced this too I know it really happened. It's really bizarre.

thats strange. i remember in XY the gift steelix from that guy in cyllage had pokerus. at least im p sure it did. i talke dto nurse joy right after and she said somethin about pokerus. i healed and it still had it.

I have a few Pokemon with Pokerus still infectious in my pc box so I can infect Pokemon whenever I feel like it, but sometimes when I infect a new Pokemon it will show up with Pokerus and then a few minutes later after another battle it will be gone, no infectious status symbol or smiley face, it just disappears. I think it is just a glitch. I infected my Tyrunt about 5 times before it actually stuck...

When I was young, I started to believe that Pokerus was a deadly virus that would slowly kill your guys... I think it started with a thread called "My team has a sickness".

Yeah kind of. I noticed it took a while to have it spread to my whole team, of course I did keep some in my storage box in case I want to spread it to others. One of my pokemon got it randomly though, I don't know about the probability in oras now.

With super training I haven't paid much attention to Pokerus anymore. With vitamins and the super training it only takes about an hour, if that to fully EV train a pokemon anymore

The nurse will give that line even if only ONE Pokemon in the party is affected. I believe that she will say that line as well if you got a Traded Pokemon in your party. Also from what I notice, one of the fastest ways to spread it is through hordes. Just make sure that the one with Pokerus is next to the one you want to infect and ecounter about maybe 2 hordes then run away in both then it should spread.

Does it not have any symbols? The face symbol means that your Pokemon still has Pokerus but cannot spread it.

Not when a Pok?rus + Power items + hordes combination is way faster than any other form of EV training, including Flop Training.

OP, an infected Pok?mon stops being able to infect other Pok?mon with Pok?rus at midnight every day if they are in your party. Just save a couple of infected Pok?mon in your PC to prevent that if you do want to be able to spread it in the future.
