Is it not possible to find rare fish on the mystery tour islands now? I’ve been searching for a barreleye and oarfish for awhile now and thought maybe I could find them a little easier on the mystery tour islands, but I’m not having very much luck...

I think it depends on the islands. You'll probably need to find a rare fish island or something similar.

The chance of finding such an island is about 1%, so you may have better luck just looking for them in your own ocean.

I've never found anything rare on those islands.

Exactly the same as my island.

Here is a guide of the islands! I found it on google, though I have used it before and gotten a big fish island. I check my islands like this :D

I think so and in my case, I use a lot of bait to catch rare fishes in my island, it is easier for me.
I kinda gave up about finding rare islands since I am not lucky lol ^^

When it comes to catching the rare cliff fish or pier fish, I'll always go for the fish bait. The regular ocean fish I tend to catch by running back and forth old-school style. My only problem is no matter how much I try to train myself, a size 5 sea bass/olive flounder will always look like a size 6 fish.
