Did I Mess Up?

So, I'm not sure where to post this thread. Cube told me that he was going to move next week and I allowed him to. There was a pause before he continued talking and then said my town would really miss him or something like that. I immediately started regretting it because I do really like him (just that he's not a dreamie). How can I convince him to stay? Do I keep talking to him within the window before he moves?

That has happened to me before. Keep talking to him daily and at some point, he'll talk about moving and you can tell him you don't want him to move.

I had the same problem a couple of times. The villager never mentioned the moving so I made a new player. She pinged him right away about moving.

Another time I sent one of my extra players that was good friends with the villager. The villager pinged right away. One week later I wished that villager was gone. It took 6 weeks before they pinged again.

Thanks for the advice! I'll try to keep him with my other extra players and also talking to him daily with my mayor.
