Did anyone else have this problem?

As always with me I'm way behind in my game and haven't done Toy Day yet. I'm trying to get my villagers to tell me what they want from Jingle. Most of them, if given enough time, have given me the info I need. Gigi however likes to make my life difficult. She has talked about Toy Day multiple times but will only say she wants an outfit. She refuses to give me a color. At this point I guess I have to hope no one else(only 2 more villagers) will want clothes so I'll know what to give her. Have any of you had to guess what to give a villager because they refuse to just tell you what the heck they want? It's very frustrating.

Yes. Marcel was never around when I was in my town, so I had no idea what he wanted. Some of my other villagers only gave me one hint about what they wanted. I was still able to give 8 villagers their correct gift and then gave Marcel the 9th item...which turned out to be exactly what he wanted. Heh.

i had two villagers who did not tell me their complete wants by toy day in both towns but i was able to narrow it down. i would spam talking to my villagers every day

I finally got all the info I needed from everyone. Gigi was tough but she finally told me she wants a purple gift.
