Did anyone bail on the wedding anniversary photos without completing the set?

I will get the tux today and that's all the items. I'll keep doing it the rest of the month because I think I want some repeats of some of the items like the candles.

I started doing it once in a very "meh" way if she asks for a cutesy theme, a slightly nicer way if it's garden or chic, but using almost entirely wedding event furniture to get max heart crystals, and then redoing it to my own theme or using items that don't match her color scheme but scream "chic" or "garden" to me (for instance), because I'm having fun with the decorating the room part of things, just not so much the challenge part anymore.

Yeah the first 3 days I did set everything up nicely and took nice pics but after that I literally put chairs everywhere in the room and took a pic. Still get same amount of crystals... Think I stopped after getting the wedding pipe organ

I’ve only done 3 days because I’m getting sick of the repetitiveness. I really want the wedding candles though so I’m going to have to force myself to start again.

I'm exactly the same, I haven't done it for the last couple days.
After I realised that all of my layouts were basically the same, but incorporated the new item, I got bored.

I Stop after a week and i going back to get the last 6 items i need to get the basic set. Then if i got time the other items. If not i ask to catlog them from friends at did it.

At first I thought I'd try to get everything and once I did, I ended up selling most of the stuff except for a few I wanted to keep. Surprisingly, they're not worth much at Nooks

I haven't missed a single day and I want multiples of some of the items so I'll probably continue going daily. I must admit that sometimes it's hard to feel motivated to do it though. But I really don't want to miss out since I actually love the items, especially in the garden and chic styles. I have plans to use them all so I'll have to just stick it out. It only takes less than 10 minutes anyway

These past few days, I no longer bother arranging the furniture. I just bombard the room with stuff that uses the theme, then take a random photo just to get it over with. I just want to collect the heart crystals to get one piece of every furniture.

I think I only did 3 days lol, it got boring quickly
I don't have any use for the items

I think I'm in the minority that I've done every single day so far and I've also made all of them unique. I typically spend anywhere from 30-60 minutes making the set. I really need to upload all of them, but I think I'll hold off on that until I've done every single day.

Same! I mean, I think I've missed some days, but not many. Personally, I've really enjoyed this event- I'm actually gonna compile a bunch of the pics when I'm done and post them on my island... profile/board thing.

I've had a lot of fun with the pics, too. Once I got the ability to add other villagers I started to play around with adding more personality to the scenes. Like, I have one ceremony shot where Chevre is crying (because you know the normal villagers would be) and another reception shot where Dobie's fallen asleep, Chevre (I think) is having a good laugh about about it, and Ursala is shrugging like... really dude? You couldn't make it through one party? In the same shot, my character is congratulating them, and, if I remember right, Erik is eyeing the buffet. I had way too much fun with that one 😂

I also personally really like the furniture! I thought it would all be too cutesy for me, but it's really not. Sure, it all has a cutesy color option, and I'm using them in my 'cute' character's house. But that organ is also PERFECT for my haunted house- and I may even use the chic benches for that. I'm also considering using the green wedding wall to make a greenhouse. And I'll probably set up a garden area outside with the garden benches and stuff, and I'll probably be using the fencing outside my museum (it's formal, but not too frilly, so it'll work). And the candles are absolutely lovely, I'll be using them A LOT. Great for the garden area, and DEFINITELY in my haunted house. Seriously did not expect to be furnishing my haunted house with this event!

Overall, this event gets a big thumbs up from me 😁(y)

Edit- Also, you guys who gave up quick should at least look up some of the later items! You might be surprised and actually want a few, or at least hold on to some to trade. It takes a few minutes to cram a bunch of stuff in the shot and take a pic each day, anyway, to get the max amount of crystals. It's not that much effort, honestly, for some nice items that won't be around forever.

Yeah, I did. Only ever did it once. If I had to do it in order for them to set up shop on my island, fair enough but I just kind of forgot about it.

Well, I missed two days. I'm trying to collect one of each item and just grab some multiples.

Just today I was checking what items I didn't have yet and planned on going back to order some more.

I'm obviously slowing down though, lol.

I like the items and I want to get more of them but it's become such a chore going there... I have some heart crystals to spend though so I should go back.

It became very tedious after the second week and I now only do it when I feel like it. I think it would of been better if they only did a week or two of the event.

I'm so over it. I have one of each item right now and am working on duplicates of some. I also like the way the heart crystals look so I want some extras at the end.

It feels like a huge chore doing the photoshoots. I do the same set every time - just switch the color according to the theme. Will stop as soon as I get enough heart crystals.

I've been completing it daily still. I want a bunch of the items, especially stuff like the candles, the wallpapers, the flooring, and the wedding pumps, so it's worth it to me even if it's a bit monotonous.
