It's just a question that if any of you here got the 2DS? I know that its been some problems of what people are saying about the 2DS,but my question is did anybody got the Nintendo 2DS with Pokemon X and Y or with some other game or with no game.

Sister bought one. They look a lot nicer in person. Very light though, definitely feels like $150 worth of 3DS.

As nice as it looks, I love my 3DS XL already so I won't be getting one. Pretty sure it'll do good in sales because of the gaming audience that's 12 and under.

im trading my Japanese 3DS + Japanese Animal Crossing for a 2DS

I'm going on 22 years old, and I've been with handheld nintendos since I was younger than 8.

I started with a GameBoy and continued on getting Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance and later GBA SP, Nintendo DS, NDS Lite, then onto the Nintendo 3DS, I then backtracked to a NDSi and then moved ahead and got the 3DS XL.

Now when I look at the 2DS I feel a great sense of nostalgia. It reminds me of things like the GBAdvance or the Gameboy Color. It looks amazing as a "1-piece". The laptop design is getting old and annoying.

Well, if I had eye problems Id get it but my eyes are perfectly fine! This guy in one of my old classes ( I was totally not eavesdropping ) said he wanted one because he had eye problems. The 3D used to give me head aches but its fine now so, yeah I wont get one unless I have soem big eye seizure and my eye blows up from 3D.

I already have a 3DS so it's really pointless to get a 2DS.

Don't like how it looks, that screen would be scratched so badly. Already have 3ds anyway.

I just got one. Moved on from a Pikachu Yellow limited edition 3DS XL to a blue 2DS after having sold the 3DS on Amazon. The system feels nice in the hands : tighter grip than a 3DS XL with its wobbly feeling with the clam shape. The system is sturdy and feels less like a toy than my previous 3DS XL. The directionnal cross and the button are also bouncier and feel nicer than the 3DS XL.

The screens also look quite good especially since they now face the player at the exact same angle. The SD card slot aso feels sturdier.

The bad : the screens are as big as the normal 3DS. So that's a loss. You also don't have the 3D stereoscopic effect but that's no loss to me as I never play with 3D on. You can still take 3D stereoscopic pictures because the 2DS still has two rear cameras. You just won't be able to see them in 3D on your system.

The 2DS also has only one speaker, which means no stereo sound -- only mono.

...that's unfortunate...I was thinking of getting one if my 3DS XL ever broke, if they came out w/ a 2DS XL eventually....and hopefully it'll have stereo sound in the process. BUT! Until that happens, no reason to get one...
