diana or ruby 🥺?

ok so after getting judy as my final villager i realized that oh wait a minute i don’t have every personality type (and i’ve always been a collect them all kinda player), i thought i’d be fine without a peppy since i had blue bear and i never really clicked with her. but one day i visited my friend’s island and saw she had ruby. i usually don’t like peppy villagers but her design is literally so cute and her red eyes really stand out to me i’m thinking of swapping out diana for her because even though diana and i are buddies from NL i talk to judy a lot more than i talk to her.

what’s everyone’s thoughts on this cause i think i’d be content either way

Ruby and Diana both live in my NL town, and Diana is in my NH town as well. I say Ruby! The peppy personality is really cute with her because of her albino bunny appearance. And I personally much prefer to have at least one of every personality, even if I’m not crazy about al of the personalities. It allows for more interesting dialogue

I did this with Blanche. Love Blanche but I talked to Judy more. Judy grew on me. Now I also have Kitty who seems to have different snooty dialogue from Blanche and Judy. I’m glad I made the choice. Move Ruby in!

I definitely think Julian would be the better choice since you have his amiibo card. That way, if you start to miss him, you can bring him back by using his amiibo card.

I love them both and was going to say Diana only because you said you already have her in NL, but if you have 3 smugs then I'd definitely recommend letting one go! Its my favorite personality but I probably couldn't listen to the same dialogue that many times haha.

thanks again for your input! i think i’m going to finish terraforming and decorating my island and decide on my final lineup then ^_^ i’ll leave this up in case anyone wants to voice their opinions and help me make a decision!

I just moved Ruby in. She has a gorgeous house, but she is still in boxes, so I can't give you much more info than the Wiki can give you right now. However, if I don't bond with her, I can give you the option to rehome her first

I agree with the Julian suggestion! The great thing about amiibos is that they're always available if you have them on hand! If Ruby or Diana doesn't fit anymore, you can always replace them with Julian

Go with Ruby!! I'm becoming less and less enthusiastic with the most popular villagers in general, so that gives her a leg up compared to Diana. Not to mention you are lacking a peppy.

And if you're on the fence with Diana, I'm sure someone here would be really happy to adopt them from you.
