Hello! So I really want to start enacting ordinances and building projects. I can't due to the fact that I still have 65% Approval Rating. So what is the fastest current method to improve the percentage?
Change your town tune and flag
pull out weeds
water flowers
plant trees
Talk to villagers and help them with their quests if they come up with any.
frankly I think it's quite random, or just requires time to pass for you to actually get it. On one of my towns I haven't played an entire day, only to come home and see that I had 90% approval rating the first time I loaded my town that day.
I think that you can also send letters to villagers, but the approval rate will only increase after the villagers receive them (and that can be the next day).
Writing a post on your bulletin board helps I think, and fishing up trash and recycling it. If you've unlocked your island already, you can bring flowers over from tours and plant them in your town and water them, the more flowers to water the more points you get. If you have a friend with spare flowers/fruit in their town, you could bring them over to your town and plant/water them (this is what I do personally).
