Designing a pet shop!

Hey all!

So for my store in town, I'd LOVE to do a pet store. So far I've put out some fish, insects, and a hamster. For "decorations" I have some canned food, some shelves, and the little seagull hanging decorations.

It's still so bare, I'd love more ideas of what to incorporate! Any ideas?

Oh gosh, that would be perfect!! I still need to unlock more. If it's there, that'd be great!

There's a 1x1 fancy birdcage that comes with the Princess set! :3

I got mine from decorating Cookie's house.

Edit: There are also those lawn flamingos that might be cute in there. Too bad they're like.. fake. ;_;

Punchy unlocks the cat tower. There's the doghouse as well, if you can find it (can't for the life of me remember who unlocks it...Butch, maybe?). If you can find Kiki (and there's at least one other villager that has it) she unlocks the fish wallpaper. There's also the normal wooden birdcage, but not sure who has that one.

Rocking horses could be fun (or the Aries ram)--you could pretend they're ponies. Nan unlocks all the Chinese zodiac animals...you could add a snake and a dog to your pet shop, among others, if you can find her.

The Leo wall sculpture would work well too (I think it came from Zell).

One of the winter-themed villagers is sure to unlock the snow bunny.

You could also include the vegetable basket (since hamster-friends need to eat!).

And the first couple of pages of this section of Les Soeurs Doigts de F?e have some great animal-themed wallpaper and single-panel QR codes (mostly cats [including Kiki!], but there's a tiny calendar with an elephant on it!).

You could also check their "flag" section, which has a couple of QRs of windows with cats sitting on them, a ton of QRs of various AC villagers, and a couple of corgi panels.

The stuffed bears might also look nice. Pet shops sometimes sell stuffed animals as chew toys.

p.s. you could also consider the lucky frog and the lucky cat statues (I'd suggest the Tanuki, but he's too humanoid, I think). Going along with the bears idea above for toys, you could maybe add a ball too--some of the sports-themed villagers unlock a customisable ball.
