Desert Island Escape?

When the heck did those show up? I visited someone to buy/trade last week, and they told me to buy the new 3dsxl out of the RV they had. Or it was the Wii u one. I didn't like the puzzle one, but dang, a mini game?!?!?! So awesome! Anyone have tips for better scores on D.I.E

I dont know any good stratagies tbh except have amiibos. But if you do good enough you can get prizes.

I have a butt ton of amiibo cards and they come in handy when playing D.I.E!

If you have any cards use them! It also beats using playcoins to use your in village characters. There's some villagers that have very OP abilities. There's also some that can take 6 steps at a time so you cover A LOT of ground that way which helps your score.

I find it's best to figure out which character is best at what. For example to cats are great at catching fish, so they can be an excellent source to fill up your rations. Depending on what group of villagers you need some groups require more food and some groups require less. If you can get a group that doesn't require that much food you don't have to worry so much about that.

I make tools as fast as I can. Depending on what villagers I'm using is what makes me decide what tool to make first. If I have all the supplies, I'll usually make the sling shot first, then the shovel, then the net, and then the fishing pole. If you double up cat and fishing pole you're guranteed fish!

I try to use one villager that can move at least 6 times to cover more ground and generally can leave you with plenty of days left which ups your score. Then I try and make the tools so I can constantly win battles which also adds to your score. If you use the cat to fish and get the fruit like you normally do and have a group that requires a low amount of food you can also end up getting days of food to spare that also ups your points.

It's also fun to use the NPC's because they wear those really adorable hats and it's just freaking cute lol

I did pretty badly at first, then found that kangaroo's are all you need.

I got two kangaroo's, and Cyrus.

Cyrus has 4 moves and can find material, but not important.

Kangaroo's have 7 moves, if whimsy works, if it doesn't, restart.

That's 18 potential moves.

When a Roo finds a tree with it's favorite fruit, it can get around 8 of it.

I ended up with 22 days worth of food, which was 22,000 points, plus cleared the stages days early, for a massive score on advanced mode!

You can get some neat items if you get a high enough score from both of these games. Island furniture and a fairy outfit with wand.

A wall, floor, frying pan, table, chair, amiibo shelf and a few other things.

I ADORE desert island escape. don't care much for puzzle league, but d.i.e? I can play for DAYS. my typical team is cat and wolf, and i experiment with the third. It's just so much fun.

But yeah I feel like a large part of Desert Island Escape is luck. Sure there are different types of villagers who have different skills and stuff but I never had to 'strategically' think about who I take with me. Although the cat villagers are cool 'cause they can get you lots of fish.

I don't have a lot of cards, but the animals I use that I do have are: dog, squirrel and duck
Dog can sniff out what there is becuase you move to that spot
Squirrel, can make food easier andjust some extra steps
Duck has more moves, I think about 6

I like the sound of Jon Snow's choice though, just need some kangroos XD

That sounds awesome XD Yeah I gotta get some kangaroos, I already have cyrus. I'm still pretty bad at it sometimes. But the ones I've been using have been pretty good so far.
