It's my first wedding season and honestly I keep forgetting it exists. I've gone to Harvey once and I just wanted to get it over with. I'll have to remind myself to do it to collect the wedding items. Don't think I'll bother next year. It's just really not my kind of event.
You can say same thing with island variant furniture that is only found on different islands that have a different airport color. To this day its still a real pain to find the color you want.
I like how they remember I helped 'em last year. I also think they tweaked the dialogue a bit and added the "you can only order 8 pieces per day" that caught many people off-guard last June.
The sheer amount of new items and reactions that we have now compared to the last wedding season make the event cool to do once in a while as a returning player.
I was also today years old when I discovered that you can put items below the bell on the Nuptial Bell item. Like... it was an accident while decorating and now I want to use that so much.
I only played the stamp event a couple times. I bought the new wedding items, but I really don't have an interest in obtaining the wedding items I got last year.
I'm fully expecting E3 to bring back much of New Leaf's content. This wedding event just feels like something that belongs in Pocket Camp. It has a mobile game feel to it.
If it doesn't, I'll still be an active player - but I think that disappointment will turn off a lot of the player base ~~
I'm playing for more of the pipe organs. However, I just throw a bunch of duplicates items and take the picture. Last year, I tried to stage it really nicely. This year, it's just all about how fast I can get it done. LOL
