Without trading with other players, probably golden roses and crafting the gold rose wreath is the easiest.

Fishing and beetle catching is good for the summer

Buying IGB is definitely a good out of game way to do it! Selling extra items or services for IGB is another option.

In terms of in-game options, I think that selling fish/bugs to CJ/Flick is a good strategy. I usually keep items over 5,000 bells. Right now, with beetles and sharks and the NPC changes, there is some big money to be made.

Probably selling items on here. That’s what I did before I got into turnips :p

gold rose to gold rose wreath. they regen every two day. Sharksheep beat me to it.

blue rose to blue rose wreath sells for the same too.

I wanted a way to make money that isn't turnips as well. I have 91 gold roses on my island, I pluck them every 2 days, turn the golden roses into gold wreaths and then sell them at Nook's. Makes me about 180k every two days.

I like diving because I don't need to worry about tools breaking. Depending on my luck, one haul brings in anywhere between 30-65k or so.

fully agree with this. diving has been the most fun and easy way to get bucks easily without turnip-ing.

i also hear a lot of people talking about selling the spotlight item of the day - like checking it and when it is an expensive item, crafting a ton and making BANK

farm wasps! make sure you catch them every day, put them into your storage, and sell them when flick comes! since the bug-off is soon, i’ve been collecting them since they put it up in the bulletin board. i usually get 18,000 bells for five wasps, so i’m gonna make a fortune 🥳

If what's putting you off about turnips is difficulty finding islands to sell at, I use the turnip exchange website. You can always find someone buying for 500+ bells. Otherwise, I've made a decent amount by selling off my sea creatures while farming mermaid diy recipes.

Came here to say this. Once you figure out how to catch the speedsters, there are plenty of bells to be made in a relatively short amount of time.

for me, diving and fishing + bug catching are the main ways i make money. i wait for flick and cj to show up, too, so i can make some extra bells with my critters and typically only sell ones that are worth 2k+ ;;

Selling bugs/fish to C.J. and Flick. 2nd player found mystery shark island and made 3 million bells.
Diving is a very good way to make quick bells. Some diving creatures can sell for 9k to 15K each.

I've generated most of my IGB from turnips (a little bit from TBT trading but not that much), so I don't really have a lot of personal basis to go off of here. Before I did turnips though, I did a lot of fishing and catching wasps since they're worth 2500 bells each.

Right now, I'd say trading items / resources is probably the fast way to get IGB; there's a pretty massive demand for regular wood, for example. 5 NMT each is the norm, which translates roughly into 500k per stack of regular wood. Other resources go for slightly less, but you should be able to make a pretty profit off of those things. Same goes with furniture items, Redd paintings, etc.. You'll get more IGB more quickly if you have a larger number of items to offer.

Make a lot of posts, earn TBTs, trade them for IGBs. Worked for me here and in NL!
This. I'm really thankful that TBT has its own marketplace. So thank you TBT shop owners.

Alternatively, since it is summer, beetle farming is one of the best methods to do right now.

In terms of non-turnips (and maybe just extending to non-trading in general) money making, my preferred way is diving for sea creatures. All the sea creatures do sell for a good amount, so you can easily just swim for awhile and make over 100k in an hour or so, and if it had been in the game from the beginning it would've been my main go-to method for making bells early on tbh.

I made my first million mostly with selling cj and flicks critters that i saved in my inventory
but turnips are the best when it comes to making Big bells.
These days i just do the daily scallop and selling everything else before i find it.
+ money tress + selling fossils cuz i finished that museum part.
I wish it was easier to make stag island because they are worth a lot but most of the nmt have rivers/ponds that makes it too hard.

I would say that it's this is the easiest thing to do! In fact, our community has surplus of in game Bells lately.

Actually, @Mezzanine won't have to worry. He or she has enough forum Bells to pay for everything. :ROFLMAO:

If you're looking for a faster way to earn Bells within the game, doing the daily tasks is enough to get by. Selling fossils and planting money trees can already give me significant amount of Bells.

I say if you don't wanna do turnips, but have access to online sub, the easiest to make money is to trade online. I paid my full house in the first week of the game by amassing millions from selling NMT to IGB and selling Gulliver items that i will never use. hahaha
