Don't delete your town you'll probably regret it! Maybe you can find another smug that you'll like? If you have no attachments for that town i'd say go ahead, but it's honestly not worth deleting over Julian. It is possible to get Julian back, you'll just have to cycle out 16 to get him back. But there's plenty of smugs in the game, so i'm sure you'll find one you like even more than Julian. He's pretty popular though, so it shouldn't be a problem getting him back from another cycling town. Unless you've already deleted the town LOL, then this comments pretty redundant. Although, did any of your villagers warn you that Julian was trying to move out or did he just move without telling you? that sucks. rasher for bacon 2k16 down with rasher Hopefully he doesn't come back for vengeance in your next town, LOL. I hate when animals follow you from town to town. It's real annoying :/

I agree with previous people.....If you use the forums, getting back characters can be relatively easy....getting a good map that you like is extremely difficult. So think long and hard if it is really worth it.
Also there have been plenty of comments of other villagers moving in that people come to love more then who they thought was their favorite.
Ultimately the decision is yours, but at least wait a couple of days first to let the initial shock and emotions to calm down before doing anything as drastic as resetting.

My advice is to not get too emotionally invested into playing ACNL. I'm not one to speak because I do stuff like plot resetting and looking for dreamies, but if you take a break once in a while, you would feel a whole lot better and would start to think more rationally about things. Resetting just because Rasher won't leave is quite honestly a terrible idea.
Also, do keep in mind that nothing lasts forever. I've had villagers like Al and Quillson before, but I knew that they wouldn't be in my town for all of eternity. It takes a lot of patience to get all of the villagers you want.

strangely enough, I too had a town where Rasher moved in, and then Tangy left without telling me so I quit my town and Rasher still wouldn't leave.... then next I started my town of Riften which has been going strong since New Year's Eve 2014
That's easily remedied. At least in my town, my villagers want to change their catchphrases all the time. It shouldn't be too difficult to get rid of the saying 'swine'.
I stopped doing dreamies just recently because frankly my kids have started playing in my town, and change what villagers they want every 10 minutes. SO, I just kinda roll with whoever moves in and out. I REALLY REALLY REALLY do not like Limberg, though. He always ends up in my towns and he is literally my least favorite animal crossing character ever...and he never wants to leave.

My son can't play yet xD but I have a feeling in a couple of years that's going to be me xD I'm already prepping up for it xD leaving him little messages in my town for him ;-; none of my dreamies will stand a chance to him xD
