Deer Town or Bunny Town?

Definitely bunny over deer. There are so many deer towns already.

But if you're going for a forest themed town, I'd say a mix of rabbits, deer, squirrels, cubs, bears, other forest creatures with natural colors. I'd go against Chrissy and Francine since their colors are bright and unnatural.

If you really want Chrissy and Francine in your town, you should go with a different town theme.

I agree with plantlet. I definitely think you should have a variety of natural looking forest creatures if you're going for that look. I can't think of that many natural looking rabbits, but Dotty's black and white so she might be a good villager to have For the deer, I'd definitely recommend Fauna!

Sadly most of the appealing villagers are unnatural looking so other than type I'm not basing how a villager looks for my forest town, but very good idea on the different types idea.
