Decorating My Basement..

For awhile I've been trying to furbish my basement downstairs, but I kept changing it because I just wasn't happy with it. My idea was to make it something along the lines of a fortune telling room, but since Katrina's items aren't up for sale or a DLC, it's been difficult to make. I have the lunar horizon wallpaper and someone told me to use the cloud flooring but I'm not sure if that will work. Please help if you have any ideas

My basement is currently a dungeon library.... Something out of Harry potter.... Library wall and ancient tile large bookshelves, columns, rococo candlesticks and other borderline creepy and elegant furniture.... If I could get an Apato torso I could add a mini fossil! My other towns basement will probably be an entertainment room arcade

Maybe the tent rug or cabana floor would work, you could use the crystal ball from the creepy set and the statues, some rococo wall lamps maybe. Exotic furniture would like quite nice if you wanted an older world feel to the room.

Oh and cushions, maybe recoloured.

You could also use the Zodiac DLC furniture as well (not the new year Chinese zodiac animals, I was thinking things like the Cancer crab table, Aquarius Urn, Scorpio Lamp etc) that's all reorderable so you could use several certain pieces. There's also things like the incense burner I use that in my spa basement. Good luck with it .

My basement right now is a storage xD;

Since I'm trying to landscape my town and I need somewhere to throw my flowers so I can make golden roses without destroying the other flowers. I never really had an idea on what to design my basement into so I just throw random stuff I don't use down there.

The cloud flooring would probably work but I personally think fortune telling rooms should be darker and the cloud flooring might be too light. I think several lotus lamps would be make it look nice.

I turned my basement into a trashy kinda living room/laundry room. I used the sloppy furniture and the old wall/floor.
I put trash on the floor too. I'm pretty happy with it right now.

I am not sure but for the flooring possibly the sleek flooring. its dark and plushy and would go well the the wall(I think) i will look through my catalog once the store opens as i have ALL the flooring cataloged and give you a better suggestion list if that helps. If you don't have any of the ones I suggest except the saharah ones I could help you by giving you them.
