Decorating a villagers house

Hey everyone,

I heard people talking about decorating a villagers house, and that this is possible by sending villagers presents by a letter. But do I have to send the whole furniture set in once? Or everyday a furniture piece?
I tried to send them furniture before but they dont put it in their houses...

The houses of my villagers are really reallyyy terrible and I really would like to switch their furniture so I hope someone can help me

Tips:

- One piece of furniture, mailed in a letter, per day. More than that and they will choose one.
- Keep at least one piece you really want for them in Re-Tail
- walk around with furniture in your pockets only if you want them to see it and buy it from you
