Deciding On A Smug Villager!!!

I can't decide on which smug villager I want! Trying to have at least one of each species in my town.
Snooty - Astrid/Mathilda
Cranky - Walt/Gruff
Jock - Lyman (Soon Hopefully!)
Peppy - Flora
Normal - Marina
Lazy - Zucker (Soon Hopefully!)
Uchi - Canberra
Smug - ?

I've liked Kidd and Keaton. But i'm not sure which to settle on, both of them are low tier I know that. I like to take in a lot of villagers left for the void

I have had Keaton twice, once in my original town that I restarted and another in a second town. I really like him and would definitely recommend him.

lol I know it's an odd selection, I know there's the really popular smugs like Julian and Marshal but I like uniquity!

Kidd is a more solemn type of smug, it depends if you want a flashy and flirty or thoughtful and quiet one. I'm resetting my new town for Kidd right now but I'm trying for all five goats, but I had him in my original town so I may be biased. Based on your list of animals did you consider Eugine?

I actually really liked Kidd when he was in my original town! I would go for him~

I have considered Eugene in the past but ZackScottGames ruined that for me I like Kidd's reserved look and Keaton's flashy look. Imo it's whatever villagers clicks with me when I see their portrait. But yeah haha I do have a lot of Australian animals in my town.
I also like having a duo of villager species. Thus my 2 Koalas, 2 Octopi, 3 Kangaroos and was thinking to have Kidd with Gruff but I really like Keaton too. It's a hard decision to make myself.

How did that other guy ruin Eugene for you? I have him in one of my towns and think he's pretty awesome.

Understandable that you have a tendency to double up on species, though I'd still recommend Keaton. One of my towns is a bird town, but it consists of birds, a chicken, a duck, an eagle, a bunch of ostriches, and hopefully soon Hopper will fill the penguin role. I think it would feel a bit more rewarding to have that variety that Keaton brings to the town than a second goat. Do whichever feels right in the end, whether you value variety or pairing more.

LOL it's an odd thing to explain. You'd have to watch Eugene's interaction with his other villager Katt.. Let's just say there's a lot more to Eugene than he'd like to show.

I adore both Kidd and Keaton.

Kidd is more reserved than other smugs. Quiet. Thoughtful. Keaton has his bright beach interior and seems more active. And colorful.

I adore both, but in your situation I would choose Keaton first, and Kidd second. Both are awesome choices!!

I have Lucha and I love him, but of those I will vote for Keaton. I don't like goat villagers ._.

Ive had Kidd and Keaton in the same town once, Keaton looked a bit awkward, and I liked Kidd better as well
