has anyone let go of friga recently? because... she appeared on my island. utterly randomly. and ruined my chances of getting pancetti.

really tho, if you have recently let her leave, just let me know so i know my game isn’t glitching because i only time traveled one day forward and-

If you had an open plot, it fills automatically the next day, so she could have been voided or truly random

but before i went island hopping she wasn’t there! and the one day was the day immediately after my villager moved out.

That's unfortunate, but the game will auto fill your plot with someone from RNG or your Queue, it's in you best interest to fill the plot ASAP as many plots don't stay open longer than a day. Typically, you have one full day of an empty plot. Any TT forward or backward out of that day is risk to get it filled.

Either way she's on your island.

Sometimes your queue is filled with villagers from islands that you've visited weeks ago, so it might have not even been recent. The quickest way to find out where she came from is when you talk to her for the first time. She'll say something like "Remember? We met at NAMEOFISLAND!"

If she's from someones island and not random, I believe she should tell you what island she moved in from.

If you leave a vacant plot when the game rolls into a new day at 5am (or you force that into happening via time travel), then there's a pretty good chance a random villager will move in.

I had a vilager move in from a friends island and it told me it was from their island weeks after I'd visited them. I was quite surprised by this game mechanic.

Fortunately requests to move come up every couple weeks so you'll be ready to hunt right away next time.

I have Pancetti as my snooty and she is okay but I didn't plan on her. Just knew I wanted a snooty. And I kinda like that she reminds me of miss piggy.

no. the plot was taken by tipper moving out, and immediately filled by friga with no one day waiting period.

Well, like someone else said, if they moved from another island then they will say which island they moved from. Not a glitch.

Don't know why you're out here trying to blame someone, you will get someone in your void no matter what if you play with other players, the villagers does not have to "have just moved out".

I've picked up 2 villagers from the void but I try not to hold a grudge because it's how the game is designed. No one wanted my Pashmina so now I feel like I can't invite anyone over or she will go into their void queue. And I picked her up from the void, so the cycle continues unfortunately.

The void is random and part of the game sadly , one the first things I've done before anything is buy or get all my villagers and tting alot.

If you trade with others and have plots open, that's a risk you're taking because at this point most people are going to have characters in their void. And you time travelled...

And are you even sure they were referring to their old home and not a visitor? Because they'll mention guests even if they never talked to them.

unfortunately there is no known way of clearing the void in this game I believe, and its my worst nightmare to give or receive a voided villager! your best bet if you trade online regularly is to fill the empty plot asap to prevent this. because we don't know how to clear the void, I wouldn't go blaming people because there is nothing they could have done, especially with "bottom of the barrel" villagers who rarely get adopted!
