Dead Wii U gamepad

So I haven't played my Wii U, in a couple of days. Today I try to turn on the gamepad but it isn't doing anything. I never dropped it/break it, but I do leave it on the charging dock when in not using it. It's not Turing on or showing the charging light when I try plugging it in. I don't have screwdrivers to open the back, but if I have too I will buy them.

Has this happened to any of you or know what to do?

I'm not really sure but have you tried using a different outlet to charge it?

Contact Nintendo and see what they suggest.
