I bit my lip coyly. She must think I'm weak, I thought to myself. The very thought made me feel as if griffons were flapping about in my stomach. I sat upright next to her, meditating upon how I was to present myself in the orientation.
I watched another girl greeting the Brute man -- maybe I could talk to her?
Looks fun!
FYI this was recommended by a friend and is my first ever roleplay :3
Character's name: Alex
Gender: Female
Personality: Very sarcastic and can sometimes be aggressive if she is pushed around. DO NOT get on her bad side. Very loyal to her team but is a bit of a loner due to her tough exterior... She does have a soft side and can be nice to those close to her.
Appearance: Short choppy red hair, a huge scar on the left of her face, bright green eyes and will NEVER be seen in anything girly.
Role: Gladiator
Team: Brutes
His grip is firm, calloused fingers rough against my palm. Maybe an archer?"Thanks." I give a quick smile before I join the three girls awkwardly trying to speak to each other.
(CommanderLeahShepard: Sure. You're the last one.)
That girl's standing up again, I thought. Won't she relax? "Sit down," I say calmly. "First, I'm going to introduce myself. I'm Raphael, the only survivor of the original Warriors of Athena. The others were lost in the Great Tartarus Incident. Before we start, do you have any questions?"
I cringed at my stupidity as I sat back down on the bench. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" I thought. I meekly stared up at the man introducing himself whilst fastidiously cursing at myself in my mind.
I lean against the damp stone walls and causally looked around. Seems like everyone is quite nervous. My gaze remains on the ground for the rest of Raphael's introduction
I walk quickly towards the Brute man, embarassed and ashamed of my late entry. "Hello. I'm one of the new Aura students, and, well, I'm not sure where to go, so could you help me please?" My parents would be ashamed of the way I was speaking. I am a young man, not a damsel in distress.
Noticing some big event going on, I walked over to some guy standing at the door, after disassembling the tent and whatever. "Hey, what's all this about?"
Did I come too early? It seemed like people were suddenly popping up out of nowhere. I played with my hair anxiously, twisting the curls around my finger.
"You're in the right place. Come," I say. It appears that nobody has a question, so I move on. "Anyway, here's how it works. I'm your leader, so you take orders from me and only me. Also, know your place in the pecking order. You'll move up ranks depending on how hard you work. Understand?"
