Dark Veil (Roleplay)

Beary, TheCreeperHugz, Lithia, FireNinja1, PurplPanda, you're all in!

Should we start now? We have enough.

Also, since nobody seems to be flipping, I will.

I believe that's all we need. Somebody can sign up in the middle though to even it out, but they'll have to sign up for Brute.

I woke up from one of my recurring nightmares again. This time I was riding a whale at the bottom of the ocean, and something grabbed me and I was tossed into fire. "Weird how it all plays out in a sequence," I muttered. "But I have work to do." Today was the day that I would be accepting new members of the Aura and Brutes. I put on my Brute armor and went into our hideout: the city's sewer. There was a dry space that we could meet up and discuss stuff, and so I waited for the new recruits.

I'm not in??

Sorry, I must've forgot.

But yeah, you're in.

I tread silently into the hideout, biting my teeth roughly. This is the day I serve Athena, I thought in determination. A man seemed to be waiting for us; donned in armour -- he was a Brute. I hope I'll suffice as an Aura warrior -- I may be small, but I do know daggers quite well... I am quite tiny, though. I bit my lip, lost in thought.

I slowly made my way into the hideout, nervous but at the same time happy that today was finally the day I could join the auras and the brutes to serve Athena. As I walked in, I saw a man and a girl standing talking, so I approached them.

As skipped around the corner, I see two lone figures seeming to have a conversation. This must be the place then.

"Y-yes, sir!" I said in the most confident voice I could muster. I turned to see others walking into the dimly lit hideout adorned with pride-imbued war flags, and statues of Athena. I could tell they were Aura warriors by their armour. They look so much stronger than me, I thought meekly. I hope I can prove I am worthy of defending the Surface. I ensured my posture was impeccable, and my face was emotionless. I will be a warrior today, I thought with uplifted spirits.

I lean on the walls by the area and shoved my hands into my pockets, waiting for my turn. I shudder, nervous about my orientation.

"Relax," I tell the girl, who is clearly intimidated. "Sit for awhile. I see a few guys coming our way. I'll go and greet them."

I saw 2 recruits come over here. "You see that girl over there? You should go sit by her. Make some friends," I said, trying to make them feel at home.

"Oh, um, okay." I mumbled. I stumbled towards the girl leaning against the wall, hands in pockets. She seemed totally relaxed -- how does she do it? I can already feel my palms sweating and legs quaking. "Hello," I greeted. "I'm Cordelia."
