Dark Veil (Roleplay)

Looking up to the roof of the hotel, I notice it is a VERY high way up, so throwing it might be a bit complicated.
"I can use it to levitate her down, it is my sister after all." I say in a calmer, more friendly tone holding my hand out to Alex, so she could give me the staff.
"If I give you this, how do I know you wont attack me again?" I say in a serious tone.
"Trust me." I say reaching my hand out to her.
I look around and realise I have no choice and pass him the staff. "I swear down, if you try anything, I will break your arms next."
Taking the staff, I levitate Misa from the roof slowly.

"Thanks," I say once my feet are firmly on the ground. "Um, how come you two are being sort of friendly now?" I ask, confused. Not half an hour ago they were trying to kill each other.

"I just... We just wanted to apologise, about what we did. We didn't mean to hurt you, Misa." I look to James and prod him with my finger. "Isn't that right James?"
I roll my eyes at first but then turn more serious, "Yes, we are both sorry."

Seeing that Misa was coming down from the roof, I ran down to where she was being dropped off. "Are you ok?" I asked when she got down.

"Well, it's nice to see that you two are getting along now," I reply, a little suspicious that they had made up so fast, but I didn't say anything more about it. "Um, can I have my staff back?"

"Yeah sure." I say passing Misa her staff back, completely forgetting about the fact my legs had been broken completely.
"We might want to check out your legs," I say to James ever so slightly concerned, "and well... my face... but I don't think this will ever heal." I point to my now scarred and rotting left side of my face.

"You should probably get Cindra to look at those," I say, gesturing to all of the injuries. Then, directed at James, I add sternly, "After which, you are going home to see mom."

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"But... I want to stay here with you Misa!" I protest. "Please."

"No, she hasn't seen you for ages. She thought you were dead, everyone did!" I reply. "If you really want to, you can probably come back after, but you have to go home first."
I was hungry, so I went to get an apple out, only to realise that I gave my last one to James. "Aww, I have no apples left..."

Offended that Misa ignored me, I walked out of the room. If she didn't want to talk to me, then fine. Her loss.

"...ok..." I say defeatedly. "But i am coming back, this is where I belong." Alex takes my wheel chair and starts to roll me back to the room and we walk in silence.
"Thank you for not... Setting me on fire again out there." I say to James in a calm manner.
"I told you i wouldn't." I say proudly as we arrive at the aura room so I can rest. Alex helped me into bed and she turned to leave but before she left I said, "I am... Sorry for... Messing up your face."
"Same here about your legs." I say softly, before turning back into a serious tone. "But this by no means makes us friends."
"Whatever you say." I sneer at her as i fall asleep and Alex heads out to see Misa again.

"It's nice when you two aren't trying to kill eachother," I reply when Alex comes back out. My stomach grumbles, but I try to ignore it for the time being. "Though that might have been my fault, I mentioned you not being able to control it sometimes and he put two and two together... Sorry..." I mutter, feeling guilty.

"Its ok." I tell Misa, "Its not your fault." Raising my hand I try to cover the left side of my face with my hand. "Look," i giggle sadly, "I really am a monster now."

(Misa's brother's legs are shattered and her friend's face has been burned off. She's been caught in the middle of this, give her a break xD )

"No, it's fine this had nothing to do with you." I reassure her. "If it's anyone's fault it's mine." Pointing to my face I add, "looks like it thought me a lesson."
