"It's not nearly as good as it could be though... I really should try to learn other types of magic, all I know is telekinesis."

I sit silently listening in on the conversation, worrying where the hell James ran off to.

 

[nekosync]

I turn to face Alex. "Do you want to come with us, Alex?"

 

[Jawile]

"Yeah, come on! It'll be fun." I say.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"Oh, erm, okay." I say a little shocked.

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"Just so you know, I don't have any clue where this library is, I'm not as familiar with anything around here s some of you guys are..."

 

[nekosync]

I slip my weapons in to my holsters, pushing them down securely. I couldn't keep myself from grinning, as if someone was stretching the corners of my lips tautly. "I shall lead the way!" I announce heroically.

 

[Jawile]

I follow Cordelia, laughing to myself. "I'm glad I joined Dark Veil, I'm having the time of my life here."

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

I follow the others. Normally I would be happy and joining in, but I was just worried about James. Where the hell did he run off to?

 

[nekosync]

I trot along the hallway, beaming. We make our way down a flight of stairs, and at last, we approach the library. "Here it is!"

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"You seem pretty happy, Cordelia," I say as I follow her along the hallway.

 

[nekosync]

"Oh really?" I say, still unable to stop smiling.

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"Yep, you've been grinning like a maniac for a while now," I reply, giggling.

 

[nekosync]

I coyly cover my mouth. "Well, here we are!"

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

As we arrive, I look around. I wasn't really the type that would read.

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"Wow, this has a lot of books," I say, staring at the shelves in awe.

 

[nekosync]

"I remember, the tomes were at the back." I begin jogging to the back of the musty library, densely-contained with books.

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

I follow her to the back and start scanning one of the shelves for anything that could be useful. After a while, I pick out a particularly old one that has a title that isn't in English.

 

[Jawile]

I pick out a light green book, wrapped in glossy vines. There was a gold symbol on the front. I open it, and it's filled with runes and how to say them.
"Hmmm."

 

[nekosync]

"Here's one of the books!" I grab a dog-eared book covered with dust, with "Magicka" written upon the front messily. I blow it, a huge cloud of dust wafting southward.

Cordelia picks out another book, but I stare down at he one I took from the shelf. The title looks to be in some kind of runes, but it looks familiar from something.
