Daisy or Goldie??

I have created a dogs-only town in which I had to take both. (I am not using Welcome amiibo characters. Just the ones from ?New Leaf? whose amiibo cards go until No. 400.) This is because I have each villager personality category represented and chose to make it equal among males and females. The additional males and females are Lazy and Normal villagers.
If you can?t have both Daisy and Goldie, I will let you know that I do have a preference. (It is Goldie.) When it comes to a decision, I think the one who better fits with your town, if you distinguish, will make the better choice. Quality wise, these are two excellent villagers.

Ik Goldie's overrated but Daisy looks weird to me. She almost has a Mona Lisa expression, and her two main colors look nearly identical in game. Best way I could see her working over Goldie is if your town had many pastel colors.

I've had both, although I had Daisy back in ACGC, so not sure how she has changed. I currently have Goldie in my NL town and think she is adorable.
Counting Goldie, I have 3 normals in town (Midge and Kitt are the others). I think that's my favorite personality, but I understand not wanting an entire town of them.

I have both, but Daisy is my favorite sweety (along with Coco). I just love how beautiful she is with her white fur and touches of soft blue on her ears, muzzle and paws. And she has those tiny eyes. She's just adorable!

I'd probably go with Daisy given the choice between these two normal doggies.I had Goldie for a while and I liked her but apparently not enough to keep her in my town.There's a third normal dog in the game who might be more interesting to look at than Daisy or Goldie and that would be Bea.

Personally I prefer Daisy, but that's mostly because Goldie has refused to leave my town for months now. Here are their E-Reader card descriptions if that would help at all.

Goldie:
Some animals think that Goldie is a little dull, but that's just because she's easy to get along with. She tends to agree with what people like to make them comfortable -is that so wrong?

Daisy is way cuter tbh.
Goldie was my first friend I ever made back in AC:WW, so my totally-unbiased opinion is Goldie 
But honestly, both are aesthetically-pleasing villagers. I think Goldie looks better and has the Golden Retriever theme going for her, but you can't go wrong. Both of them are great.

Daisy is such a sweet little pupper. Her little eyebrows are the cutest when she blinks!
I used to think she was plain compared to Goldie's pretty coloring, but then I saw Goldie 'in person' again and realized that I'm not crazy about Goldie's eyes. I adopted Daisy into my main town (from my campsite), and I'm so glad I did!
