Me too! Also it's coming to japan in late 2015
Patience isn't something I'm good at, but we're getting the remake of the original trilogy this Winter and I haven't played those games yet, so I can wait for this one.

But unfortunately I still have to play through the Investigations games and then Apollo Justice and then Dual Destinies. I'd really like to get caught up in this series before the new game comes out.

I hope this is coming to EU/NA, I don't know if we got PL vs PW because Level-5 was involved (and they localize every Layton game) but seeing how DD sold well and we're getting the trilogy port on winter, hopefully they'll announce it next year
I want more AA with Takumi! PL vs PW reminded me how much I love the way he write dialogues.

Haha I know, but I'm really odd about video game series, I prefer to play all the previous ones first.
(But I'll probably just get this one anyway, and play it all immediately of course. Assuming it's localized... we can only hope.)

Wait, late 2015? That's about a year wait then o_o I don't remember how long it took for us to get DD but yeah, most likely coming for us in 2016... At least we have the trilogy to look forward to!
Ah same, I'd probably play it in order too because I don't want to miss any reference made in newer games. You can skip Investigations entirely since there's no connection with the newer games (I think?) but playing AJ first is definitely needed to fully enjoy DD.

You're definitely right, I tried to play AJ alongside Investigations but...
I saw Phoenix and couldn't do it. ^^; I'll have to toughen up though. But I'm just too attached to these characters to find out what horrible things probably happened in such a long time gap. I don't remember what it was, I want to say 7 years?? I only played a little of the first case...

That'll give me the time to play the original trilogy first. Definitely looking forward to the remake that is coming out in December!
