Aha! This is definitely a game I'm looking forward to; I really hope we'll get it here as well! Not too sure about Watson being a girl, though, but eh, I guess I can live with it.
Me too! Also it's coming to japan in late 2015![]()
Also how do you make spoilers

From here:
– Once again, Sherlock Holmes will appear
– Eight-year-old M.D. and literary girl Iris Watson will also appear
– Protagonist Ryuunosuke Naruhodou and Holmes will investigate incidents
– However, that doesn’t seem to mean the pair will be together at all times
– “Joint Reasoning”: as Naruhodou and Holmes work together to solve mysteries, players will point out where Holmes is taking his reasoning further than the truth in order to get to the bottom of what really happened
– Detective and courtroom sections like previous games
– 3D characters and 3D background this time around
– The actual depth of the background will be used, meaning, the character can actually go into the background
– Hitting Japan in 2015
From here:
– Ryuunosuke begins the game in Japan
– He’s a college student involved with a certain case that puts him on the path to becoming a formal attorney
– To better study law, he transfers to England along with Mikotoba, where he meets Holmes
– Much of the story is set in London
– Japan is the setting for Ryuunosuke’s first case
– Court and investigation proceed in mostly the same way
– During investigations, Ryuunosuke and Holmes will use joint reasoning
– With joint reasoning, you must point out any inconsistencies in Holmes’ rapid-fire reasoning
– Ex: Holmes accusing a witness of being a certain revolutionary
– Settled on 3D to allow for a very dynamic camera to match Holmes’ high-speed thinking
– Takumi jokes that Holmes really set the stage for the game
– Takumi has a deep love of the Sherlock Holmes stories, so he’s trying to respect the character
– Holmes is described as falling somewhere between the “storybook Holmes” and a “real Holmes”
– He’s a man who focuses maybe too much on his investigations, but isn’t a bad person at heart
– Ryuunosuke and Holmes’ meeting is a key point of the game
From here:
– Holmes is, “The most famous detective in the world. His unparalleled observation and deductive skills see not only the ‘truth’ but sometimes go beyond the truth and become a ‘rampage of logic.'”
– Holmes resides in London
– Iris Watson is a young girl who lives with Holmes
– Iris holds a medical Ph.D.
– 8 years-old
– She wrote the novel adventure series The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
– More info at TGS
– Out in the spring
I'm too excited. 8D
But unfortunately I still have to play through the Investigations games and then Apollo Justice and then Dual Destinies. I'd really like to get caught up in this series before the new game comes out.
Since Capcom said it's coming in late 2015 it might come in early 2016 or still 2015This is a spinoff so you don't need to play the previous titles if you can't wait!
I hope this is coming to EU/NA, I don't know if we got PL vs PW because Level-5 was involved (and they localize every Layton game) but seeing how DD sold well and we're getting the trilogy port on winter, hopefully they'll announce it next yearI want more AA with Takumi! PL vs PW reminded me how much I love the way he write dialogues.

Haha I know, but I'm really odd about video game series, I prefer to play all the previous ones first.
(But I'll probably just get this one anyway, and play it all immediately of course. Assuming it's localized... we can only hope.)
Ah same, I'd probably play it in order too because I don't want to miss any reference made in newer games. You can skip Investigations entirely since there's no connection with the newer games (I think?) but playing AJ first is definitely needed to fully enjoy DD.
