What do you use more. D-pad or touch screen to play AC (or both).
I play touch only :)
But I am getting bit parranoid about getting my screen scratched. ;D

What are you guys talking about? You have to use one or the other to play the game...I think you guys are confused as to thinking the question is referring to moving the character.

you can't use the d-pad to do anything other than change tools, so how in this world is it possible to only use that

I thought he was referring to moving the character.

In that case, I use the touch screen.

I think OP meant the circle pad, not D-pad?

I only really use touch if I'm laying patterns down.

My head hurts.

I think you're asking if I simply touch the lower screen to make things happen faster? In that case, yes, I don't even look at my D-Pad; it's a waste of time. I don't use the stylus, either. I don't think you have to worry about getting your screen scratched. The only time I worried about that was when I was playing Pokemon Ranger and **** was crazy. (I'm looking at you, Charizard fight)

(Er, circle pad, I guess. Only use D-Pad to change tools.)

Touch, unless I'm paranoid!

It's faster for me, though trying to plot reset one handedly and having to take out the stylus is a nuisance haha.

I usually use the touch screen because it's faster, but I have tendinitis and if it's acting up, it's easier on my wrist to use the circle pad :(

In the case of Wild-World, where you could use the touch screen to move... It's kind of confusing. For in New Leaf, I jumped into the game thinking that you could use the touch screen to move. Boy, was I surprised after about 3 seconds of trying lol.

It would be nice if the feature existed alongside the already decent controls, but alas.. it's just the control nub.

Wait - you can use the touch pad to move around? I thought that only worked in WW...I haven't figured out how to do that in NL.
