Cyd or Butch?

Hi! I'm trying to decide which cranky villager I want on my island, and I have it narrowed down to Cyd or Butch. I actually have Butch on my island right now, but I still feel like I want Cyd just a little more, but since he doesn't have an amibo yet he'd be hard to find. Who do you think I should keep? Suggestions for different villagers are welcome, though.

If you want Cyd, you should go for him! Butch might be easier to get with amiibos, but otherwise if you get his photo, it doesn't hurt to cycle him out. Crankies are great! I have 2 on my island right now, and they're easily my favourite personality.

i have cyd and i adore him, my hubby likes him enough he keeps threatening to steal him as a joke. i adore my other crankies as well, but he's definitely my fav of that type, despite his colouring.

Cyd looks a little strange to me so I'd personally go with butch, but Cyd is probably more wanted as he is new so if you ever planned to sell him, you might fetch a decent price. But just go with whatever villager you think you would like more!

Based on what you've said, you seem to like Cyd more than Butch despite not having him in your island yet. Plus, there's the amiibo situation. So yeah, I'd go with Cyd as well.

I like them both equally and if you want to try a new villager go with Cyd. But either one of those I can help you get... that is if you'd like the assistance
