Cycling is so super boring but I'm trying to fill up my permanent resident list (or "dreamies") so a lot of cycling has taken place. I know you guys plot reset and cycle a lot which can get quite grating, what are both your in-game and out of game cycling routines to take the frustrating edge off?

In-game I always leave my gold watering can next to my hybrids, there are always the first few days of checking, saving and TTing to the next day before you start soft-resetting for villagers so I make sure I water my hybrids on the days I'm simply checking and TTing.

Out of game routine -
Generally I find something to put on TV that I've already watched but has good rewatch value (currently it's How I Met Your Mother, before that it was Friends), make myself a cup of coffee and something to eat, sometimes I prepare snacks and just get to it!

Oh! I also talk to all of my villagers and fulfil any requests on my last day as mayor before cycling, and send out a round of letters with gifts attached to take the edge off my absence if it runs over 7days of TTing. It's also nice to come back to a full mailbox :)

I've only TTed to get certain villagers to ping to move out, but in-game wise I always left my town in beautiful ordinance up until I got everyone, so all I did was log in and save and move to the next day (until I for sure needed to check for possible moveouts)

Out of game routine- I usually watch streams or youtube videos xD they don't need as much attention as a show (i hate missing parts of a show)

Oh yes beautiful ordinance is a must for cycling, that's my permanent ordinance so I didn't even think about it. Yah, that's why I can only rewatch shows I know extremely well, hate having to constantly rewind, haha!
