When I'm on the villager plaza I see the same characters everyday and I think they void these less popular characters. I mean how many marshals or that ugly rhino or the deer can you have. Where's Beardo or who ever else is in my sig.

Yes, often people probably void villagers less likely to be in demand. It saves the cycler time.

Aw man I had Eugene before but after posting I had no interest so he had to be voided I think it sucks that these villagers get autovoided so often, but I understand why!

Most cyclers will take the less popular villagers off auto-void if you ask them to.I do a bit of cycling and I offer all villagers no matter if they're popular or not.I do wind up voiding some of them anyways so putting the less popular ones on auto-void is a more of a time saver than anything for the more hardcore cyclers.

Also to get the villager out quicker talk once and then ignore. Do you talk the day they come and are in boxes or the next day when they're all moved in?

I currently cycle two towns, and I while I won't autovoid anyone, I do try to plot reset until I get a villager that's somewhat popular (most of the time) There are many reasons why people will autovoid or reset for desirable villagers, but I think the main reason is to expedite the cycling process. When you're able to adopt villagers out more quickly, you're able to speed up each subsequent process (plot resetting, etc.)

A few people have posted in my thread stating that they were lurking for villagers that I don't currently have, and I always keep that in mind for future plot resetting. People usually try to fill their towns with villagers that are popular, because while they may not be everyone's cup of tea, cyclers want to fill their towns with what the large majority of the TBT userbase are after.

I'm sorry that you've been unable to find the villagers you want thus far, but you may want to try posting in cycling threads that you're lurking for Beardo or whoever else you're after. I can't speak for everyone, but most of the cyclers I know (including myself) will keep the desired villager in mind, and even contact you when they do finally move in so you can lurk more efficiently. I have Beardo in my town and am currently trying to get him to move out. I'm glad to know someone who's definitely interested in him. Will contact you when he's in boxes, probably sometime tomorrow

Basically like others have said, it just makes things a lot faster and if you ask for an unpopular villager, cyclers will generally keep an eye out for you/not void that villager/etc

When I cycled, I didn't autovoid, because I didn't feel it was right. So no, I wouldn't have autovoided Beardo and whoever your other dreamies are. Not all cyclers are the same. The only reason some do it is because it saves time, and if you simply ask them they will not void them. :l Tone it back, killer.
