You don't usually have to pay for any villagers, but depending on the villager, I might trade them for a dreamy or something. For example, I've given Merengue and Lucky away, but I'm trading Marshal for one of my dreamies. I'm very close to getting the rest of my dreamies, so if/when I get Stitches, I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with him.

I was planning on PMing lurkers only when a villager moves out, but I can PM you when he moves in if you would like c:
