when u have a villager that moves out, like i.e midge, but their not in your void anymore because they moved out like a year ago & u've had like 500 other villagers come & go, what if midge moves in from another town? would she still remember you? or is she gonna be all like "hi im midge! i moved in from _______" bc that would break my heart

same feel i had with Marshal. ;_;
things just aren't the same anymore.. :c
HOWEVER, my boyfriend held Julian for me while I cycled through 16, so my Julian was the same Julian that moved out, and he still remembered me. c:
unfortunately at the time i wasn't good enough friends with Julian to make it notable, but when I went to pick him up he said "Make sure you talk to me more this time, okay Usagi?"

This will happen IF & ONLY IF it is the same villager that you cycled out to another town. Further, this is the only time that a former status of residency in their old town will be referenced. If you invite a villager that you cycled 16 for but got it from an auction or something, they won't say anything.
Yes, I know. I said this only happened because it was my Julian xD
Earlier in the post I wrote that Marshal didn't remember me because the Marshal I got wasn't my original Marshal.
