Cute little details you've noticed

Here's why I thought of this thread:

I'm shaking trees so I can get a bee for Nat.
Stitches is nearby.
In between us, there is a mantis on a flower.
I shake the tree, nothing falls out.
The mantis gets scared and scampers away.
Stitches uses the "Shocked" emote.

I just thought it was really cute.
What are some little details that you've noticed in your game?

Something also just happened.
I saw Punchy sneaking up on a darner dragonfly with his net, and Marshal tried to catch a tiger butterfly. He actually swung his net.

I love the Bug-Off.

Something I love is when villagers applaud you for catching a bug/a fish.

Last week, something really funny happened. I wanted to catch a mosquito, but while doing so, I hit Chrissy's head. Of course, she did the little animation, when you hurt a villager. But even if I hit her, she applauded me. xD I found it really funny, haha!

I love the little detail where villagers will look at bugs passing by, whether they are flying or on the ground. It's very cute and adds to how nice and relaxing ACNL is.

I also love the details in the Bug-Off. The most recent Bug-Off was my very first one, and I've had a lot of fun with it, especially watching the villagers swing their nets and catch something. I wish Bug-Off appeared more than the Fishing Tourney, because it really just fits how cute the series is.

I noticed just now that Tom was trying to sneak up on a ladybug with his net (today's the bug-off in my town). I talked to him, and he forgot about it, walked through the flower it was on and scared it away xD

And I find it so cute when villagers worry about you when you wear bandages

I love seeing villagers interact with each other and actually do things (fish, catch bugs during Bug Off, water flowers, hold shovels, and sit on benches/stumps or their couchs/chairs at home). c:

Today is the Bug-Off, and I noticed that Daisy was hunting down a bumblebee. I followed her for a good 20 seconds as she crept closer and closer.... then she swung her net and missed! She wasn't happy to say the least.

Yesterday, I ran from a bee and then caught it, and Apollo started clapping for me. Like "Yay, you didn't get your face messed up!" I know they always clap when you catch a bug or a fish, but it made me laugh. I think it's also cute that when you give Nat a really rare bug, his pupils go super-dilated.

I love that your footprints are different depending on if you're wearing shoes or not. On a similar note, I think it's cute that Apollo has bird footprints, Whitney has pawprints, Drago has claw marks, and Pashmina has hoofprints. It's a detail I think is cute.

I love when you get stung by bees and your villagers give you medicine, or how smug villager will be like "You look different..." while other personalities will freak out.

One of my favourite things is when your villagers run around whistling your town theme. It's SO cute. Easily noticed, and everyone's seen it, but it never gets old.

Today I was turning in a bug for the tournament when I saw Erik and Diana with each other. I wasn't sure if they were talking or not, because half of their bodies were cut off from my screen.

And then when I came over to them they were both trying to catch a yellow butterfly.

In the bug off today I didn't notice Mira was trying to catch the honeybee I was trying to grab and her little mad facial expression after I caught it was the cutest. Lol. o(≧▽≦)o

I've seen them sneak but never actually swig!
