Customizing with Gold!

A while back I decided to start giving Phoebe the gold set, then realized something. The gold items are probably something that they can get rid of, and probably won't put at Re-Tail. Are the gold items, things they can just randomly get rid of, or is it like Gracie Furniture where the never seem to get rid of it? If they DO get rid of it, does it go into the pool of 'items removed from their house they did not put at Re-Tail' that the villager is can give you?

If so I might not want to give her the gold set because of her possibly getting rid of it and me wasting the ores for something she does not keep. If so I might just give her items customized with Gold Ore. So far I only know 3. The Piggy bank (Which I know because of Chugga), Plate Armor, and Mini Daruma. I know that these items will go to Re-Tail, if she gets rid of them. What other items can be customized with Gold Ore?

I gave Graham unorderable dlc but he didn't get rid of them, instead he ask for replacement (duhhh is the hard gain pumpkin pie!) and to get back the items, be sure you give it to them in their house and they will switch the items they want to get rid to you.

I don't mean as in the replace. I am worried she might just downright get rid of it, and not even put it in Re-Tail so I can Buy it and give it back to her. I gave Hans some spare Ice items I had and he's gotten rid of them....so they can just downright get rid on unorderable items.

O.O I always gave dlc and unorderable to my villagers but they don't get it of it by void, but this is hard to say cause other villagers can give them items they will replace without you knowing. So unless you be sure you don't want that unorderable, you can risk this and give it to them =)

I think customnewleaf.tumblr.com is complete and a good place to check but you can always try it out for yourself and see if Cyrus gives you that option or not.
