Yes! I didn't know this at first either, but it definitely is nice to use to your advantage. If only there was a health meter of your tools to know when they are about to break, but I suppose counting the uses works just the same. Enjoy the new tip!

Yeah, I customise my shovel before I do my rounds bashing rocks / moving flowers around.

There's nothing worse than having it break halfway through a project!

yeah, i am almost never using the entirety of a tool in one go, so it is a frustrating to not have something that counts for me over multiple days. but yay!! at least this exists haha

Absolutely. I've done this many times so I don't have to craft or buy tools. I've customized most of my tools at least 10 times which have probably seen around 250 uses. It definitely helps if you need to complete the customization achievement.

The flip side to this is that you won't be getting the broken tools achievement as quickly. The flip side of THAT, you'll get the customizing achievement quicker!
