Custom sign PWP?

I want to put one in my town somewhere, but I'm not sure how they work.

Do you choose the design to put on the sign before or after you build it? What if you replace the design slot in the Able Sisters? Will the design change to whatever you change it to, or will it remain on the sign (kind of like the flag design)?

Also, are there QR codes for these signs? I'd love a link to some good ones!

When you first build it, it will have the default image you see when you choose it. Afterwards you can change it to whatever you want although it has to be a design you created yourself. I don't know why they have that stupid rule because it seems pretty useless to use if I have to do it myself since I suck when it comes to things like that :3

There are programs out there that allow you to use qr code custom designs on signs but I haven't gotten around to them because tbh, I can't be bothered with it right now

Yep unless you get a program for your computer where you have to do some weird stuff to edit it so it's compatible. I have no idea about it tho

The standees can be from QR codes, not sure why the signs can't. :C
You can change the design slot without the standee design changing.

I know that other peoples' qrs for face cutouts work! and the qr/pattern for that will hold, not the design spot thing. Basically the same as the town flag and signs! c:

There are the custom signs and then there are the face cutout standees. :3
