Custom design sign confusion @.@

So, my very good friend made me 3 new signs for my bakery, hotel and retaurant. She put them up in the able sisters, left the town, and when I tried to put them onto my custom design signs, it wont let me @.@ which makes me really upset because I know she took hours on them and they're absolutely amazing. Anyway, is there anyway to get round this? Or will I have to make my own signs if I want to put them up? :3 all help appreciated.

(Btw I don't mean the cutout standee, I mean the square, custom design sign.)

1) Use "Load ACNL file or QR-image" and upload a QR code made by you (has to be a 1 tile pattern: cannot be dresses, shirts, hats, cutout standees).
2) The website will show your town and your name with your town and player's in-game ID #. Copy those down.
3) Use "Load ACNL file or QR-image" on your friend's QR pattern.
4) Change her username, town, town id # and player id # into yours.
5) Use 3DS to read the new QR code show at the bottom of the page.
6) You can use the patterns now because they are under your name.

My game only crashed when I tried to change the pre-made design. It should be fine if you don't meddle with it.

Does the ID stay the same all of the time? or will it change each time I scan a new code in?

Your ID number should stay the same. Unless you are using your 2nd character.
For example my mayor character might be e3e7j and my 2nd character is a5j7z. Their town ID numbers are the same but they cannot use each other's patterns because they are two different players.

When I click to delete it, it's saying delete Lydia's. But when I try to put it on a sign, it isn't letting me. Any tips?

Too bad it doesn't work. You can try asking your friend to give u the pictures of her design grid. Then all you have to do is recreate the patterns by hand.

when you upload your own qr, click copy creator under the ids

then when you upload your friends design click paste creator.
it will overridde hers with yours.
