I just saw this sad comic where Canberra was being bullied out of an island and THEN another comic inspired by the first one where she finds a home she deserves. I'm linking both of them below. When I started NH, I only reset about twice, so my starters were Stinky and Canberra. I mainly stayed for Stinky because I heard he was really underrated but over time I've grown to love Canberra. Honestly the comic made me so sad
I felt so sad at the first comic, but the second one brighten my spirits so much! I mainly just ignore the villagers that I don’t want my town, because I feel like it’s less cruel then hitting them with nets over and over again. Let’s get some love for Canberra!
I LOVE HER. Her eyebrows make me crack up every freaking time!! I like a perfectly cute villager as much as the next guy but there's something about the just bizarre quirky ones like Canberra that I cannot resist. Canberra is AMAZING and it's her crazy awesome expressive face that does it for me.
On the rank my villagers thread, i put in my villagers. I have canberra btw. And i knew there would be no way she would compare to Raymond, her neighbor, but the results for her placements made me somewhat sad. Canberra was a starting villager, but now there's no way she's leaving, i don't think she'd ever want to knowing what everyone else thinks of her. My Permanant villagers list is quite big for none of them being my dreamies. Canberra, Stella, Maddie, and Raymond come into mind. I always thought Canberra was cute, actually.
The people who hate ugly villagers. I admit, i'm guilty of this to some villagers, Elise and Monty come into mind. But cmon, canberra's cute! When you get over those eyebrows, that is. New Horizons made her adorable though!
Honestly, even for the villagers I wasn't fond of, I could never bring myself to abuse them or hit them with a net. And when I found out that ignoring doesn't make them move away any faster, I immediately started interacting with them I think it was good on Nintendo's part to make sure the player interacted with all villagers.
That comic is so sad (( I cant imagine being that mean to any villager, no matter how ugly they are... plus I want to get the photos of everyone who ever lives on my island!!
yooo i was not ready to be crying this early in the morning. people who bully ugly/unpopular villagers hurt me so much, way more than any ruined ~aesthetic~ does :'(
I have Canberry in my NL village and she still lives there, she is precious! Good to see that there are others who like her as well because she used to be mostly disliked.
