yeah seems like it would take years to complete if you depend on redd. I just am buying the art from people on the forum, i have no better use for my tbt so that works out

Have any of you seen the meme about the art section? The difference between the section in April and in August, haha! It is so damn true. I'm gonna take picture of my current section and see how it progresses every month. With Redd being so elusive and bringing more fakes most of the time, I doubt there will be major changes even next year

I experienced that along with Redd selling only real ones. The purchase limit is quite vexing.

It's true that progress is very slow there. I do like having an exhibit that fills up more slowly though, as my fossil collection is complete and my bugs/fish exhibits are mostly filled and will probably be about just about complete in a few months. After that, I will only have art left to donate, as a sort of extra goal for the museum. But yeah, it will take a looong time.

I also don't really seek out art trades! I do have a second character which really helps when Redd does have more than one real artwork to offer... I do also trade art for art sometimes. Not that I have art to trade that often haha

Oof, I haven't had a repeat yet. I have had him show up after not coming to my island for a long time with all fake art. Thankfully, he made up for it afterwards by showing up with three real pieces of art.

Redd is the only rotating NPC who needs a set weekly schedule. Have him come every Sunday, boom, nothing hurt and everything gained

Redd is the reason why I broke my no TT rule.
You can only buy one item. They could all be fakes. They could be repeats. Redd shows up like once a month.

It really annoys me he'll only sell you one art piece per visit!! Like, no, I want to buy all your crap whether its real or fake because it looks lit. It doesn't even make sense to have Redd refuse money lol like what

Easy way to solve this by TTing back and forth rerolling him. I know TTing isn't everyone's thing but that is the only way if you don't wanna purchase from other people.
