Pokémon Current shiny hunts?

Ivysaur was my favorite character in brawl and I've been kinda missing him lately lol... and thanks! :3

Yeah same! Charizard was too slow for my tastes and I died with Squirtle all time due to his side-special so Ivysaur was all I had xD AND speaking of Ivysaur, the shiny I got came with IVs I didn't want (Got the Attack IV but I want a special attacker), a terrible nature for special attackers (Adamant) and to top that off it got a terrible IV in Special Defense, which it needs for special attackers that it's weak to. Ugh, back to the safari I guess...... (Don't get me wrong I'm still keeping it, like IT'S SHINY WHY WOULDN'T I?)

If you are going for a specific nature then just breed for one. You are pretty much guaranteed to get a shiny with the nature you want if you have one of the breeding parents hold an Everstone. Just make sure the parent holding the Everstone is the same one with the nature you want.

Aside from that don't worry about IVs. Hyper Training is going to be a feature in SM which will allow you to raise any of your Pokemon's IVs with Bottle Caps.

I was going to hunt for a Larvesta but I AM NOT ABLE TO FIND THE CORRECT MIRAGE SPOT

So I am trying to get Munna in the meantime... Sigh

Yes but maybe the bottle caps will be super rare and finite. If that is the case it would still be better to care about that if you play Pok?mon competetively.

I highly doubt that Bottle Caps will be finite. No other consumable in the current games are obtainable only in limited quantities. Even Master Balls can be obtained from winning the lottery, using a skill from one of your secret base friends, or from spending PokeMiles on certain attractions on the GTS website. If they do end up being very rare - which is the only thing I do agree is very likely - that is a good enough reason alone to make breeding for IVs still worthwhile and thus there is no need to make them an item that can only be obtained a few times in each game.

We know that Magearna is confirmed to be holding one, so even if they are available in finite amounts then what is stopping you from trading for as many extras as you need? As far as I know the only items that can't be traded are Key Items, but Pokemon can't hold Key Items. The only held item type that has a trade restriction on it are mega stones as far as I know, but even then those are only restricted from trade on GTS and WT. You can still send and receive them through normal trading. Worst case scenario Bottle Caps are the same as mega stones, which still means you can get as many extras as you need.

I haven't touched Pokemon in a while and my last intentional shiny was the Kyurem some months back. I accidentally hatched a shiny Plusle after that when breeding for a team, and then began a hunt for Grimer. Now that I've picked the game back up I'm resuming the Grimer breeding. I'm hoping it's a quick and successful hunt because I'm interested in trying to hatch a shiny Pumpkaboo before the month ends.

Same for me and Phantump... if I weren't so busy plot resetting for New Leaf! -_-

Currently hunting for a Wartortle since he's the last shiny Kanto starter I need. But while hunting for him, I found two shiny Krabby, so like my two Tangela, I'll evolve one and leave the other one as in. Currently in a Safari with Bibarel instead so that I don't get another Krabby, should the shiny not be Wartortle xD (Please be a shiny Wartortle though!!!) After Wartortle, I'm going for Marowak/Trapinch, and then Lampent and Phantump since it's October ;)

I am kind of hunting for Treecko, but I'm not like actively playing the game at all because of Color Splash and I also got Xenoblade Chronicles X a few weeks ago. I think I'll have to finish these games before I'm able to focus on shinies again hehe.

Did get a shiny Porygon recently tho ;)

After two shiny Krabby and two shiny Bibarel, I FINALLY found my shiny Wartortle. Male, Docile nature, and perfect IVs in Defense and Speed. Not complaining and I'm so relieved to have finally found it! :D
