Splatoon Creepy Noises after Final Boss Battle?

Just figured I should post this here. Did Nintendo take a dark turn with this game, because this is FREAKY.

Side note that I remember hearing weird bells ringing in certain maps after the time runs out. Wasn't really "creepy" but they still sounded weird.

If you complete an amiibo challenge with DJ Octavio then a Zapfish will appear at the end.

EDIT: also if you replay the final boss a Zapfish will appear also.

Just read up on this and it's like really creepy but also really cool. I love when games hide secrets like this.

I believe those are just bells signifying that the round is over/almost over. I know when you hit the one minute mark on Arowana Mall you'll hear a clock bell ringing, and when time is up on Kelp Dome you'll hear the bells at the top ring.

Yeah, I figured.

Although they still sound really creepy, especially in Kelp Dome, considering they go off as soon as soon as everything instantly stops making noise, so you just hear this random bell and wind blowing.

A the very end of the match when "GAME" shows up and all noise stops. I'm not sure if they ring every time but I hear them a lot.

I like the bells in Kelp Dome and Arowana Mall. I don't like that scary background noise after the boss fights are over though. I read this theory that said that the noises were the Octarian civilisations falling apart because you stole their source of power.
