im usually inside when they show up so i cant sneak up behind them. my phone quality isnt that great either to snap it from far away

I have a lot of creepy experiences. And Kess, that's pretty messed up. Sigh... some people

Okay idk where to go but I need to ask

Okay so, people park on my driveway. Like, I wouldn't care if they were there for a couple mins just changing their gps or something. But these people stay here for 30 minutes.

I think if they planned to cause any damage to you or your house they wouldn't roll straight up and park on your driveway, giving you a chance to see their faces and registration number.

Is your driveway -obviously- a driveway? Sounds odd but I mean, is it paved? I live in a pretty rural area and a lot of driveways are just dirt tracks, and kids might not realise that when they pull up their car to sit and hang out for a while.

Idk how old their are but if they look like they're late teens/early twenties (basically just young men) then they're probably just taking a drive and hanging about with their mates, as it seems odd that each time it's different people and they haven't actually done anything to your house. And I imagine if they are young all the staring/creeping up to your window is probably just fun and jokes.

I would just be careful, maybe get a small knife or taser/mace or something to help you not be as scared. Even like a whistle or something, I used to carry a knife, a rape whistle and a light that was super powerful and could make it so people wouldn't be able to see me, and also maybe blind them a bit if I just flashed it so I could get away cause I was walking home in the middle of the night... I got followed one time by a kid in a hoodie and it freaked me out cause I kept hearing footsteps and then I saw him coming up on me, I flashed my light and he was all like "what the hell!" Cause he had headphones in and was looking down so he didn't even know I was there, like I felt bad and apologized but it helped me be more confident that it would work in a situation I might have needed it.

And if you really feel in danger I would call the cops on the down low if you're able to without them seeing you're on the phone and just tell them people have been coming and casing your house and hopefully they'll be able to stop it.

A girl irl was being too creepy, was stalking me, sending me messages to love her, oh god she somehow got my number and spammed me with calls. This was a month ago.

On the internet, I've met a plethora of creepy women who are like way too clingy, and they go as far as sending me nudes.

Yes, its different from the road. Its pabed so you can tell

No, the people who stare through the window are old. It was a very old couple. I could see gray hair.

The rest are typically middle aged adults.

My town only has like.. 3 cops so i just hope they would actually be ableto respond in time. I do carry pepper spray with me though

paved* god its 5am i gotta sleep

for background I currently live in a area in japan thats known for having a lot of yakuza (aka organized crime) and I live in a residential area thats basically 2 bus away from like the outskirts of the city

so every saturday night since I've lived here, at 10:20pm someone somewhere plays clarinet?? or something for around 5-10 minutes. they just play the same tune over and over, and then they stop. I have no clue where it's coming from and considering I can hear it through my window it's pretty loud. One time one of my neighbours was there with me when we were walking home and we heard it, and I asked if he knew what that was and he was like no but I hope it's not some yakuza signal or something lol....

I took a vid of it too if anyone wants to hear it:

Now this is creepy.

As for the original poster, write down the license plate and google it. See what comes up. See where the car comes from. Google the history of your town, see what pops up. Better yet, google /strange/ things that have happened in your town, specifically about illuminati and/or weird people. Or see if there are pedophiles in your area. I know it sounds strange, but if there's a whole group, they might be banded together, and...well...looking to do terrible things, (this happened in my hometown, and luckily the pedophile ring was found and they were sent to jail). The more knowledge you have, the more capable you will be of protecting yourself. Over all, be careful. Find a safe spot in your home that no one would know about unless they lived there. Better yet, /make a new spot to hide in that wasn't there before/. Keep a kitchen knife under your pillow.

The next time someone peeps in your window, pull out the knife and smile, and be sure to be super creepy.

I don't know about you guys, but when people threaten me I take no ****. No one knows your home better then you. That's their downfall and your advantage.

It sucks that there are so many creepy people out there.

Some general advice to people dealing with creepy people. It's not your fault if someone is being inappropriate to you but don't be afraid of being rude if you just want to get away from someone who is creeping you out. Nobody should make you feel like this, especially not people who are older. I know that many of you are girls, and girls are taught to be polite and helpful (much more so than guys) but lots of creepy people exploit this.

About knives, which I've seen recommended in some posts, they're a bad idea unless you have some training in fighting. It's harder than it seems in movies to effectively use a knife in a fight, plus, if the person you're fighting with is more capable than you are, they can take the knife and turn it against you. If you're indoors and just want to scare off people on the outside, fine, but carrying a knife around and expecting it to work like magic is not very wise. Another thing to remember is that carrying knives is illegal in many places and if you go to school it's probably against the rules to bring one with you, so it might get you in trouble.

To the OP, if your parents don't listen to you, is there someone else you can talk to? A teacher or someone like that? If you're worried about being home alone and your parents let you have friends over or go out, maybe you can invite friends to stay with you or go to their houses until your parents come back. Something that can put off people from breaking in is to make it seem like there are more people in the house. Even if they don't think they are, if they're confused, they won't want to risk it.

I think it's normal for people to park on the road outside, especially if there are other businesses or houses nearby. I think it's less normal that they go up to your house and peek inside, that's creepy.

A few days ago I was home alone, and A couple of minutes in someone knocked on the door. I ignored it at first and figured they'd quickly go away, but they kept on knocking for about 3+minutes. I got up and looked through the peephole and so a bedraggled 60+ year old man. I quickly shut all of the blinds near the front of the house were he could see me and locked the door. When I locked the door it clicked really loud and he obviously noticed because he started rattling the door knob and knocking and yelling at me to open the door. It had been 15 or so minutes. He started to walk around the side of the house and tried to get over or side door. Luckily our door is 8 or so feet tall so he could jump it, but my neighbor saw the man and asked him what he was doing, the man replied he lived here. He called the police and it turns out it was a potentially harmless, but senile man that believed that it was his home. Im not allowed to stay home alone anymore though :mad:

that IS odd, cause it's not just a bunch of teenagers hanging about in their car. Have you got a friend or elder who can confront them the next time someone parks on your drive? Just kind of, send them up all subtle and innocent and just asking them what they're doing and if they know that it's private land, but having say your pepper spray or something else to immobilize them if a problem starts? There's always the police but as you say there isn't a great amount where you live it might be best to try and see what their motives are in parking on your drive.

Another possible thing - if you have a bin that needs putting out on the street for collection, maybe leave it at the bottom-middle of the drive to hopefully deter others from parking on it? Cause unless they have very specific motives they probably won't bother getting out and moving it if they just want to sit and chill there for a while. But the old couple + it generally being middle aged people? That really is disturbing/creepy.

At 2am i decided to go for a walk bc yknow destressing **** on a school night and i was walking back to my house and then an old lady walked across the street to me nd i was like "well okay" and i was about to go to my house and i looked back and she was right by me like "hey" and she was like "i like your shoes" and they were slippers and i was like "thanks??" and she was like "so whats ur name" then i looked at her and she laughed and walked ahead of me nd i was like 'uhh' nd she kept looking back and honestly she looked like tish simmonds mum which is horrifying

i dont believe in paranormal activities that actually interferes with anyone's day, so im not paranoid about what happened..just a bit creeped out. a couple months ago i was at home while my parents were staying out late with my cousins and my siblings fell asleep before me, so i was basically the only person still awake in the house at 1 am in the morning. my parents are pretty strict about turning on the heat so i opened the window to free the heat..it doesnt do much, but its better than doing nothing and sweat for the night imo

what i noticed is whenever i open my window especially during breezy days, my door usually swings back and forth. i know its because of the wind so i see it as a normal thing by this point

i left my room to get some water and left my door open--just saying, the window was only open at least an inch or two and there was barely any breeze. the kitchen is pretty much right next to my room, so while i was waiting for my cup to fill up, my door slammed closed out of nowhere. as i mentioned, this happens on normal days when my window is open but like..i dont get how considering i restricted the air flow compared to usual yet it was loud enough to wake up my sister. i went back and stuck my arm out the window for a few seconds and it was pretty much warm outside. as i mentioned, im not paranoid about it either. im assuming theres a logical explanation for what happened

I've had similar experiences! I see vehicles coming up my drive every now and then... One of them were even the same cars! :o
