Creepy/Dark/Shadowy villagers?

When i get my 3DS back from repair (HOPEFULLY NEXT WEEK DAMMIT) I may turn my cycling town into the second setting of my story; Everlock, the deadspell island. It's a place of destruction, sorrow, darkness, and the people there have gone slightly mad. I want some villagers to reflect this trait.

So far, the villagers I have are...
