Crazy Fish Rolls in Lightning Storm at Midnight

So it just hit midnight... I noticed one of the big fish shadows moving slower. "Must be an Orefish." It was.

Then I went to the next spot. Another huge slow. Coelacanth.

Then I went to the next spot. Small. "Must be a barreleye." Sure enough. Barreleye.

Anyone had any crazyness like that? Are lightning storms good fishing usually? Or Midnight? Or the combo?

You were probably just really lucky but I do know in past games, thunderstorms can make coelacanths more common. I wonder if that applies here but more fish. Based on time, it should be easy to catch fish around midnight since I think less varieties of fish appear during those times.

wow you got real lucky. i’ve noticed that rain sometimes helps fish spawn more frequently - i always make some extra bells from rarer fish when it’s raining aha

i didn't have a thunderstorm but i had some CRAZY rain today - and i got three coelacanths in a row! it might have been four but i was dumb and missed the drop lol
