hello, welcome to the forums! lurking is more or less a step below reserving; when you lurk for a villager, the seller notifies you when they're in boxes so you have a chance to make an offer on them. however, unlike reserving, they're not yours, so if someone makes the offer first (or makes a better offer, depending on the sellers rules) they get that villager instead.
im trying to save up my TBT, so I do hope you can get that 100 TBT! but if not, PM me and we can work something out in IGB. c:​
