Because I'm a fanboy and I'm just different. Apparently you can't be "cool" here if you're not rude to other people. People just won't except me for who I am.

Being a fanboy and different doesn't give other people the right to hate on anybody. I am both of those things, and I would've left a LONG time ago if I thought stuff like that would give people a right to be rude to me. There are nice people on the forums.

That's because this is the Internet. People can cloak their true nature and just say whatever they feel like. If forum people are invisible to you, then you should pay them no mind.

They aren't real. Well, they are real, but not real life. If only I had some real friends... Someone to relate to...

It's a perfectly good reason. Being a fanboy means you only like that thing, saying the competitors constantly suck, usually without using/playing them, and you have to constantly bring up your your thing is "better" when anyone mentions anything else.

I shouldn't have to change who I am to be respected. If someone was truly a nice person, they'd see the good in me and give me the respect that everyone deserves.

I never (well, I try to) say that the competition sucks. I've played and used both Microsoft and Sony games and Windows computers. I just don't like them. That's it. That's why I'm a fanboy, because everything else just doesn't appeal to me. There's nothing wrong with that.
